The Choir Reader has worked wonderfully with my choirs and it more than paid for itself within the first couple of months!

I LOVE IT!

I am currently using this curriculum and it is perfect for high school students. Each lesson gets harder, but at a slow pace so every student can succeed. It is designed to have multiple sight-singing levels for your more advanced students. It includes assessments as well. I highly recommend this curriculum!

Joel Bremner's sight-reading curriculum is a new and innovative music education method for teaching sight-reading and developing musicianship in young students. The Choir Reader provides examples that increase in difficulty sequentially, which makes it efficient to track growth and progress. It's a great tool for SMART goals and teacher evaluations, and it is also a great self-assessment for students so that they can see what level they are and track their own improvement.

The Choir Reader has been a great tool. The progressive practice of reading something new in solfege every class period has stretched my students beyond what they imagined they could do and given them increased confidence in learning their repertoire. I look forward to seeing their continued progress this year and am hoping that next year they are able to inspire and help any new chorus students to also grow in their reading ability.
